Christ Church Cathedral participated, along with all other cathedrals of the Anglican Church of Southern Africa (ACSA), in holding a memorial service for Archbishop Emeritus Philip Russell on Friday 06th September at 11h00. It was a blessed occassion in memory of the former Archbishop of Cape Town who died late July in Australia. The memorial service coincided with the official memorial service and interment of ashes held at St. James', Greytown in the Diocese of Natal.
